Evening Timeline / Payment: 

Meet at Camp Wolf Willow Parking lot at 4:00pm

Walk down to beach

Opening Ceremony Circle

Group Photographs

Individual Photographs + Self-Acceptance Exercise

Sauna + Cold Therapy + Meditation starting around 8:00pm

Community + Connection

Closing Meditation ending at 10:00pm

Late Arrivals / Rescheduling / Transfer of Ticket:   Any attendee that is exceptionally late arriving to the Event will be asked to text myself upon arrival and WAIT until a volunteer arrives to guide attendee to location.

Due to the nature of the Be Your Own SwimQueen Event, rescheduling to another Event Date is NOT available.

If attendee cannot attend the Be Your Own SwimQueen Event, a ticket transfer up to 1 week prior to Event Date is allowed. Be Your Own SwimQueen DOES NOT accept returns on purchased ticket(s) BUT if you need help transferring your ticket(s) to a new attendee please let us know via e-mail and we will work with you to transfer it!

If attendee fails to show, all payments made to Be Your Own SwimQueen will be forfeited.

Copyright and Model Release:  Be Your Own SwimQueen shall own the copyright in all images created and shall have the exclusive right to make reproductions for, including but not limited to, marketing materials, portfolio entries, sample products, editorial submissions and use, or for display within or on the Be Your Own SwimQueen’s website, social media and/or book publications. It is understood that any duplication or alteration of original images is strictly prohibited without the written permission of the PHOTOGRAPHER(S) and Be Your Own SwimQueen.    

Social Media license:  In consideration of the payment of monies due under this agreement, Be Your Own SwimQueen grants attendee a perpetual non-exclusive license to reproduce images downloaded from the photo gallery as follows:   Attendee may share the web or high res photos delivered by the Photographer + Be Your Own SwimQueen on their personal and business social media accounts, provided that in each such post attendee must credit/tag Photographer + Be Your Own SwimQueen. This licence does not permit attendee to screenshot poor quality images, or edit or alter photos in any way, or to do any other act which would infringe Photographer + 

Be Your Own SwimQueen’s moral rights.

 Awareness of Risks: 

I acknowledge that there are risks associated with participation in the activities and Event offered by Be Your Own SwimQueen. I have informed myself and understand completely the risks associated with my participation in these activities and this Event including the risk of personal injury and death, and I freely accept and assume these risks and I elect to participate in spite of these risks.

I understand that it is free to withdraw from or reduce my participation in the activities by Be Your Own SwimQueen at any time.

I am not aware of any medical condition that would affect my ability to participate in the activities and the Event offered by Be Your Own SwimQueen. If I have any concerns about my medical condition, I will consult with my physician before participating in the activities and Event offered by Be Your Own SwimQueen.

I understand that Be Your Own SwimQueen does not provide any disability, accident, medical, liability or other insurance should I become injured or cause personal injury or property damage to a third party while participating in the activities.

I agree to accept all responsibilities.

I understand that the Be Your Own SwimQueen Event is held on a beach and in the South Saskatchewan River. I understand the hike to and from the beach require running shoes and or hiking shoes and or closed toe shoes for support. I understand it is recommended that I wear a backpack to allow free hands for balance and support during this activity. I accept all responsibility on this Hike to and from the Be Your Own SwimQueen Event.

 

Release and Waiver 

In consideration of the acceptance of my registration for the Be Your Own SwimQueen Event and activities offered, I hereby for myself, promise not to sue, and hereby waive, release and discharge Be Your Own SwimQueen, LeRae Shawn Photography, Jada Reimer Photograophy, sponsors, volunteers, participants, employees and all other person or entities acting for or on its behalf, from any and all claims of liability for personal injury, illness, loss of life or property damage of any kind or nature, arising out of or sustained in the course of my participation in the Be Your Own SwimQueen Event and activities. This Release and Waiver applies to all claims, foreseen or unforeseen, including but not limited to negligence, breach of contract, and breach of statutory or other duty of care.

I agree that this Agreement and Release and Waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law. Any provision found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. I have read this document carefully and acknowledge that 

I have complete knowledge and understanding of its contents. I recognize that by signing this document I am waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue. I am signing this document voluntarily.

In entering into this Agreement, I am not relying on any oral, visual, or written representation by Be Your Own SwimQueen with respect to the safety of activities or the risks involved in participating in the activities other than what is set forth herein. Should Be Your Own SwimQueen or anyone acting on its behalf, be required to incur legal fees and costs to enforce this agreement, I agree to indemnify and hold Be Your Own SwimQueen harmless for all such fees and costs on a full indemnity basis.

Once payment & signature is received an email with further Event details and Partner discount codes will be sent.
